Curtis,
I know of one guy using one, send me an email thru this site and I'll dig up his email for you. WE believe all Pioneers were made by Bachofen & Meier of Switzerland. What size machine did you find? Mike has big ones and a small one. tt

Hi Curtis,

Check this thread: http://www.metalmeet.com/forum/showt...0167#post80167

from post #4 on down. It seems to be a good choice.

Finally made the deal on the B&M Pioneer 749. I paid $1100 for it and I could not be any happier. I even got the original opperators manual with it. This machine is in mint condition and was used very little. Just got it unloaded at my shop and fired it up and she runs smooth and quiet. I will get some pictures and more info tomorrow.

Ran machine late last night after going over it, lubing it and replacing some wiring. It came with a small 1/4"dia beading die, so I tested it out. Cant wipe the smile off my face. I plan to do a lot with this thing.

It is missing the top circle cutting attachment, but it would not be hard to make one. Also missing a few knobs.

Speaking of knobs.... the red arm lifts the upper tool? , on the left is that an indicator for the stroke? on the left, motor side is the a stoke adjustment or speed adjustment? the on the right there is a lever? wha t does it do? Looks like it has a very good guide system. Glad you got it! tt
