Default Cutmaster

I have an old Econopak 50, which let me down yesterday. The price of the consumables on this machine is pretty high. I'd check into consumables with the Cutmaster.

As for a value, I've seen them on Craigslist for $700 to $1100.

I own a cutmaster 52, and it has been great. I have cut 1/2" plate with it numerous times, and does great as long as the operator keeps it at 90° to the material (unless you are going for an angle on the cut) Consumables are not priced bad at all.

I had a miller 35, ICE35 tips were crazy locally priced. I have now a 1 year old $300 CHINESE Lotos cut50D... 250 pc consumables for $42.. torch was $35. Off ebay.. Torches were different tip diameter.. the ones off ebay are slightly larger dia. So I bought a torch too.

Replacement tips do not do as well as the ones that came with the machine, it would severe 3/4".. now about 1/2" with the new tips.. I bet it has to do with air flow, I have been playing with the regulator again. Regulator on this machine is a POC.. it Moans.. making a noise.. It still works so I keep using it.

This unit has paid for itself in oxy gas savings several times over.. it is the cheapest way to cut. I though it might make it six months here, it has surprised me.

Default Cutmaster 38

Got my cutmaster 38 from e-bay works great! Even came with circle guide kit and a consumable kit. Cuts 3/8 like butter. Haven't tried anything thicker yet.
