Sorry guys but the weekend past by without any fun time in the garage
Today it was a "follow my wife" sunday, and we went to the forrest for a little mushroom looking..and it wasn´t that bad becouse....

we found some mushrooms and.....

I FOUND this rearend....Im not a expert on this stuff but for me it looks like a ford end and the hubcaps has the V8 sign...so I drag it home...couldn´t let it lay and rest anymore

If any can let me know more about it I would be really glad

So finally I can say to all of you, follow your wife or girlfriend on theirs "days of choice" and it can be some interesting in the end..

Take care!

Does look like a old A model type rear. What we here call a "banjo" 3rd member, and with a tube for the drive shaft. Can't tell much from the pictures about the backer plates on the hubs if they are A model or not. Does it look like they have a cam connector for mechanical breaks or are there hydrolic fittings?

A's of course would have been pure mechanical as far as the break set up.

Your wife must have been so happy when you told her you were dragging it home with you!!! Did she ever find out about her kitchen strainer??

Neat find my friend, both the rear end and the mushrooms!

Hi all!
Now I have finished the roof on the -33 tudor at Håkans place ...

..and it turned out very well, no problems to get it to a pretty nice level of finish even if the surrounding areas of the roof where in bad condition and partly very thin after grinding and planishing earlier..

..I also made this bows to support the roof and make it stiff..

..here they are in place in the car

After I done some work on the doors and control/adjust all gaps it´s time to send the car to another shop for some grinding and a coat of epoxy before it goes to the paintshop for the first layers of guidecoats then the car will came back to Håkan for final test fits of all hardware..many hands on this one before it will hit the roads :o

Take care!

Hey Buddy,

A complete roof panel is a long, slow task You did some fine work... AGAIN!

What's the coloured stuff on the inside of the roof?

Did you make the stringers/supports on the Pullmax?

Talking

Thanks guys, your so kind lowcrown panels isn´t fun to be friend with...but go slow and take time for the welding pays off nice...

The "colored stuff" on the inside belongs to the Volvo Håkan pick the roof panel from he often do it that way, recycling is really up to date

The support bows I just bent in the break and then make the ends out of pieces of flat bar that I bent in a radius. Between the bows and the roof I put strips of
tarpaper.

Now I will make some time on the bike when I can get of ordinary work, maybe Håkan need some extra hands time to time also...I will let you know when it´s something worth to show

Have a nice evening!
