Default wheel tubs

i am working on putting wheel tubs in my car.i have a 50 merc. with a 88 g-body frame.i stretched frame and channeled body 4''.wanted to start with wheel tubs than put floors in.where do i start with the wheel tubs?do they get welded to the quarters?any help would be great.thanks

I made tubs for my MGB project. They attached to the frame on the inside and came all the way around to the wheel opening where there was a 90* flange. I also made the rear quarters and they attached to the wheel well at that flange with spot welds.
