Gary,

Does that shear distort the metal when making cuts longer than 52"? I'm sort of in the same boat, 90% or more of what I do would fit into a 52" shear, but wing skins and some other things would make it really nice to have a 6' or so shear.

Thanks.

Graham

No, it cuts straight as an arrow, & leave a nice smooth edge. Signs look factory cut. I'm happy.

This weekend I made a platform for a washer & dryer set for my daughter. I cut some scrap alupanel to finaih off the treated lumber frame, 32''x60''. The multiple cut on the 60'' side came out great. I was wondering if the alupanel would cut clean too since it's a composite material (& Soft). PVC core with aluminum laminated to both sides. But it cut it nice and clean also.

Hi Jesse. I will as soon as I get a chance. I seem to have way more stuff to get done than I have hours in the day.
