Bill,

I don't understand. In one post you show how to get rid of rust and in this post you rust things on purpose.

You need to get out more often.

Yes, it is weird. Did the mill table and these same day on purpose. People pay extra for rusted flowers. But a rusted machine used to help create my work is worthless. Neat way to celebrate my 1002th post even though it says 343.

Nice pieces Bill. I enjoy your work very much ... with or
without nature's patina.

Thanks Ben and John. I built and forced rust on these in 2008 but similar to my work in 2009. Some of these may look a little different this year.

Bill they look great. Funny isn't it? People will buy rusted metal. My teenage daughter took some of my money, went to the mall and came back with new jeans, FULL OF HOLES!! I don't get it.
Your work is really cool Bill. Thanks for posting it.

So, am I the only one that doesn't see any photo? I just see text there, it says" Name=Grouprust.jpg".

And you got a mill? Where in the world did you put it? Hopefully I can make it over there this summer and see your new toys and projects.

Bob

Thanks Paul and Kevin. Photo was taken summer before last but never posted anywhere before.

Bob, I can't see it either. Seems like a problem with inserting into a post on my Mac. Mill is a Rusnok clone, fits between the shaper and lathe. Wish you were here now, been learning CNC related things for the table. That was a tight fit!
