Default English Wheel lower anvils

I'm building an English Wheel from scratch (for a school project) and I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to buy 3 lower anvils? I'm pretty new to all this so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

thanks,
mark

Mark, I also have a student constructing an english wheel from scratch. We went through Joe at Hoosier Pattern, Inc. 1-888-480-4870 he will help you out a bunch. Let me know if you are able to get plans for the frame of the English Wheel.

I'm going to have to jump on the Joe Andrews/Hoosier pattern bandwagon, too.

I'm building a medium size E-wheel, and I ordered a set of anvils and upper wheel from Joe. Actually won them off of ebay.

Joe claims that the tolerances on his wheels are .001" or less. Three of the wheels I got were .001 out, two were .0005 out, and the other two were dead-nuts.

In addition, he's a nice guy, and a great businessman. Good product, good service, nice guy- when Metalsmith42 and I go back and build a BIG E-wheel, we'll be using Joe again.

Can't help but jump on the Hoosier Pattern bandwagon here! Everything I've bought from Joe is still great!

Nice to see you jumping in Brian!
