Default Soldering Stainless Steel

I am wondering what kind of solder should be used for soldering Stainless steel? It will be used to seal the bottom of a pot's seam.

Thank you

Hello Mikey

Your probably going to need one of the silver solders on that chart Ron posted, to take the heat of the stove for your pot. I have limited experiences with silver solder so I can't make a recommendation.
But for yourself or others who need to solder stainless to stainless for other fabrications (non food or non drinking water applications), I have used LA-CO "M-A" stainless steel soldering flux with good old 50-50 lead-tin solder for years. Her is a site with their flux information: www.laco.com/buster/bv3_1_laco_fluxes.html
There is some silver solder flux on that page also.
