Default auto related event only

Keith,The distance that we take Les' ZM2 is only up to us as participants of the meet. To have a large meet like we have coming up there has to be a lot of different projects to cover all interest`s and give everyone things to keep them busy. Randy is open to having a meet to work on his olds for a regional meet. For yoursel;f at the big meet you will go and work where your own interests are. A lot of this is hard because if you had lived closer to me I would have been interested in working on your 40 project and I have personel projects that you would be interested in working on with me. We just live to far apart to make it worthwhile. You could also have your own regional meet to work on your next project. It is just up to each of us to put together smaller meets of our own to further our learning - Dutch

Default I have a sickness and a little O/T

Hello Dutch and others,

It would be great to live within a community of builders like Dutch, Wray, Kerry,Randy and others of such mind. To help or get help with projects would be great, the MM03 and regional meets will just have to do for me.

My original post was probably not to the point. By auto related I should have said finishing the Ascot or ZM2.

I understand that the annual MM should cover all types of metalshaping, not just auto. That is why I asked the question.

My sickness is with closure. I like to see something started, finished. It provides me with "relief" for lack of a better word.

The worse part of my sickness is completion. Once it is done I have no interest in it. That's why I own no finished cars at this time. I have had finished cars that I have done, only to sell them when finished, not for a monetary gain, just because I don't want them anymore.

It's the hunt, after I catch it I don't want it.

Sorry to ramble.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Do you mean that you have actually been able to finish a project? I've been lead to believe that when I'm half way through a project that I'm supposed to loose interest and buy another, or perhaps build a new tool to mask to fact that nothings getting done. <g>
Well that's how I've been doing it for a while now. I am trying to focus more and look forward to finishing the Firebird. Then I've got the 64 1/2 Mustang to do. Thanks for the inspiration.

Default Sickness

J.,

Yes I have actually finished/completed projects. I am not going to say how long they took though, just because I have a sickness doesn't mean I'm a speed demon.
