Keeping a lip formmed on the panel and not letting a tradtional tuck actually form drawing the metal over the buck a bit like an actual die would do if the part was stammped out.
I coppied the page from Glovers book and posted the photos of his work, not the best image quality but it should show what im talking about way better than me explaining it.

Not the best shot and its sideways still need to work on editing.

Here is a picture of Rex working the deep draw on the Norton side cover. Using a hammer and dolly and keeping the tucks from forming inward but pushing them out over the buck.

I have attached 1 page of the Glover technique that he provided us for making the Cal Davis headlite project. Until Rex posted this I had forgotten all about it. Must be the doors. right Dick?

I converted the whole set of instructions to a PDF, but it was still too large for the forum

Default 32 Dodge Cpe Deck Lid

After playing catch up here I finally got to work on the 32 Skin some more. Here is where it was at when I got home.

PICT6598.jpg

Of course the guy throwing a tire right in the middle of it
laying in the back of my pick up after having a tire go bad
on my trailer freaked me out. Fortunately there was no
damage to the skin. I had it wrapped in shrink wrap and
padded.

Thanks for the new handle for my Shrinker/Stretcher Bob Adame!
It is working well!
I also had to raise my tool up because the size was to high to
work with so I stacked up boards.

PICT6615.jpg

New Skin vs 1st skin I knotted up and twisted bad in the making.

On the coupe. Final adjustments to be made in the next weeks.

PICT6617.jpg

Got to go lay fiberglass.
