Well, I think the post is now complete. And I have to give thank you's to Anders for his advise and to Dick Strever for getting it all put back up. He was up late getting it done. I didn't know how to start, so asked for help and got it.

And if you see errors, don't hesitate to point them out.

And thanks too for the positive comments.

Now an update on the car. Cole has outgrown it as he's nearly 5. I have a 20 month old grand daughter now as well and she just loves the car. Her name is Harper, she can't pedal it yet, but I have a hard time getting her out of it none the less. It's beat up a bit on the sides from them getting in and out of it, but Cole was always so careful not to run into anything. He would say "can't hit pappa's motorcycle" or "nana's car". It was fun watching him outgrow it. My wife thinks I should repaint it for Harper, but I'm not touching it. She doesn't care about the name on the car. And besides, it was her big brothers car to start with and she just loves messing with his stuff.

David, I did make a book out of it for my grandson and his dad. If I recall it was 31 pages long, all off of this site back when I built it. There have been quite a few people read it that aren't members here.

And for what it's worth, I'm planning a second scale car build for Cole starting sometime next year. It has to be a bit bigger though. I've actually got the 3D model done and will be making the buck from that.

Problem is I'm not too sure right now if it will be a metal or fiberglass car body. I do know it will be powered by something other than pedals.
