Did Paul tell you where the turbo came from? Looks like a neat car! Thanks for posting Johnny!!

Jeff, I think he said it came from a '62 or '63 Olds Jetfire. I think that turbo was also used on some of the Corvairs around the same time period. I believe it was made by Air Research.

Johnny,
I enjoyed having you and Roger stop by and thanks also for posting the pictures of my project. The car is planned to be a track styled roadster somewhat of the vibe of the ole Duffy Livingston car that roadraced in the '60s. Some specs : Frame Essex unknown year modified with kickups and boxing. Crossmembers Model A. Running gear '33 Ford with '40 Ford rear brakes and Wilwood disks in front mounted within the mechanical backing plates. Engine '40 Ford 221 ci in flathead V8, stock for now. Turbo '62 Olds F 85 ( Airesearch ). Nose. Metalmeet project 2008. Cowl '29 Ford with Metalmeet 2007 side panels. Body The rest will be home made as time allows, roadster style. Paul |
