Default paul's track roadster

we stopped by paul mounds shop the other day for a surprise inspection.

wow what a work shop. the quality of the workmanship is top notch.....

this is one of his projects he has been working on. hope he is able to bring it to m.m. i oct.
i'll post the pics for paul and he can fill in the blanks

stupid computer wont work the way i want it to. cant get the pics uploaded. need to hit the keyboard some more.....:twisted:

This is very wierd. A few minutes ago I was able to see the pictures. Now there's only attachment numbers.

Jeff, I think he said it came from a '62 or '63 Olds Jetfire. I think that turbo was also used on some of the Corvairs around the same time period. I believe it was made by Air Research.

Default paul's track roadster

Johnny,
I enjoyed having you and Roger stop by and thanks also for posting the pictures of my project.
The car is planned to be a track styled roadster somewhat of the vibe of the ole Duffy Livingston car that roadraced in the '60s. Some specs :
Frame Essex unknown year modified with kickups and boxing. Crossmembers Model A.
Running gear '33 Ford with '40 Ford rear brakes and Wilwood disks in front mounted within the mechanical backing plates.
Engine '40 Ford 221 ci in flathead V8, stock for now.
Turbo '62 Olds F 85 ( Airesearch ).
Nose. Metalmeet project 2008.
Cowl '29 Ford with Metalmeet 2007 side panels.
Body The rest will be home made as time allows, roadster style.
