I usually just buy my al from my local supplier, discount steel.
That is just over 21# of material.
I check the salvage bin first but if you want to order a piece, a new price was
$76.10 for a six inch piece of 6" sq. on their website discountsteel.com. they do ship ups. That ought to give you a starting point.

Default scrap aluminum

Hey, there's a guy right up the road from you who runs a scrap yard. It's on Route 1, on the left, just before you get to Bunnell. There are several junk places right together there. A bunch of old trucks and cars, and this guy has a lot of aluminum and it's cheap. I bought some from him a couple of years ago. Cheapest price I ever paid for scrap aluminum.

Default aluminum cubes

Hi Rhett,

I don't know what the yard on Rt. 1 will have for you as I haven't heard of that one before. Svinga (sp?) Bros. / ABC scrap in Ocala always has large chunks of aluminum - mostly 6061. Also, there is a yard in Sanford near the port of Sanford. I'll have to work on a name and address for that one. Had some drops, some machinery, seemed awfully proud of some of his stuff. :-)
