Short Notice Event!

Tomorrow (Saturday) Dec. 19, 2003, there will an impromptu mini-meet at Dan Pascoe's (Creative Billet) in Burien, WA. This is a followup to a message approximately a week ago from Pat Groover stating that he was going to be in the area visiting relatives and was interested in getting together with metal-banging people while he was here.

Dan's message announcing this event, originally posted yesterday on MetalShapers (and reposted here with his permission), says:

While this is very short notice, it's a good chance to get to meet some of the people of similar interests here in the Seattle area.

Well curiosity killed me today... I saw at 11:30 this morning the post about a meet at Dan's today. Should I have known sooner I would have attended. I called Dan at about 11:45 and there was 6 people attending so far. How much fun did you guys have?? I know I missed out on this one but not next time.

Hi guys!!!!!
Sorry I could not make it to see Pat & friends over there. BUT I did get a shop tour today of Art Morrisons shop in Fife, WA. Quit an outfit. Not much in the way of sheet metal shaping, but allot of square tubing bending for his frames that he makes. There were several frame fixtures with frames in place. There was an interesting shop built e-wheel that he had.
