Default Carrying the momentum home!!!! Regional MetalMeets

Good evening friends,
Now that we have MetalMeet'03 under our belts and the momentum on our side, now is as good a time as any to start planning regional MetalMeets. I overheard several of you talking about being interested in hosting regional events during MetalMeet,
so here's your opportunity to make it happen. Having hosted one regional MetalMeet and the big'n, I have to say, it's highly recommended. It's a great way to get better acquainted with folks in your area with the same interests. Many new friendships to be made, and it's nice to have a helping hand once in a while!!! We all benefit from the experience. I plan to host quarterly regional aquainted , with a possible extra get together thrown in just a couple weeks before MetalMeet2004 for final preparation. I'm looking forward to seeing this great group grow and mature over the next few months. I think it will blow us all away at how much more knowledgable we'll be in another year. Let's not loose the momentum and focus.
Thank You,
Randy

Randy, you might consider the fact that after all this positive feedback gets out, the attendance may double? At least keep in mind where you are going to cut it off......jb

Hi John,
Cut-off??? What's that?? There was at least an acre of unused space this year. A bigger tent isn't a problem. We can handle 200 no problem and I would venture to say 250 wouldn't be out of the question.
We plan on growth!!

Randy, everyone that knew I was going to MM03 from around here has come by to see how it was. I think if I can get some of my stuff set up so they can play a bit .......I won't have to make that drive alone next time.

Now if that is happening to everyone else, you may see 200+ next time.

How many days are your regional event going be?

JB
