Chris and I are kicking around the idea of heading out this time. Bring a couple power hammers, the new bead roller and the hydraulic shrinker stretcher.

**** Rick. That's one heck of a lineup of "guests".

It would be so neat to go to CA for a meet. I've never been to the ocean :o

Default Santa Cruz

Christopher,

There are plenty of things for spouses to do in the area while the guys play with metal.

Last year we had dinner Saturday night on the wharf. http://www.cityofsantacruz.com/index.aspx?page=648

After which we went to Michael Leeds (Blastolene Brothers http://www.blastolene.com/roadkill.htm) shop.

Michael was working on this http://www.blastolene.com/Work_in_Pr...1942ranger.htm.

Santa Cruz is at one tip of Monterey Bay, so about an hour away is Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Reggie Jackson's car collection, Monterey Bay Aquarium, etc.

All I can say, is it's worth the trip to see the side of the pond where the sun sets.

I don't think you could talk Becky out of showing you guys how to make copper flowers. Shopping isn't her thing (thank god!)

Hey Rick, sign me up as well. I didn't make it last year, but had a blast the year before. Its well worth the trip. Gotta come early enough to make it to Kevin's for a shop tour again, and eat some more of his wife's cookies.
