Default It's that time again.....

We always are looking for ideas to improve the meet, but after some long chats with some members I'm gonna put a little twist into the same old question.
What can you do to make MM2012 better, instead of thinking what is best for me, what is best for this craft? Take sometime, think this out, I bet you have some great ideas.

Money Raised goes to "charity".. ??? Pay cameras for internet audience. Subscription or??

I'm pretty depressed I didn't get up that way.. I could have sat and watched "ya'll" and made faces at the monitor.

If there is enough interest? heah and overseas? ya could buy a dozen more cameras. One over every piece of equipment.. Heck.. them guys over THERE could do us the same favor..

There was a coke machine in Australia online on a beach.. you could "look" at patrons and send "messages" that scrolled across the display to them.. I had a blast with it.. (whoo hoo bikinis) there was a mobile camera in a museum in Paris.. probably the whole musuem was digitized,, but you could pan around the place and inspect things up REAL CLOSE.. I loved it.. it was a pay site..

It's all about "having fun" and "learning things". A panoramic camera does not "swing about", it has a cone or a mirror ball and the java software clips out a pie section to view on the internet connection. No moving parts.. can be made with a simple high resolution usb camera.

AND.. if you saved the good parts.. you could sell dvds on ebay.. or the site.. (whoo hoo)...
Our friends at Baileigh's demo machines would have a ball with the video. Give them a reason to load a few ones up to bring there..

Well, even though it says I joined last year up above, I've been around for a few years and lurked in the background for years before I joined. I remember some of the "old guys"

From what I have seen, some people pi$$ed on some others Wheaties and they left. Some just simply wont attend a meet, some are just too busy doing work, classes, etc.

I too wish that everyone would get along and attend the International Meet, but everyone is human and we all know that wont happen.

Even at the Regional meets, it seems the "old guys" who actually have done scratch build cars, coaches, etc. just come to visit with old friends. They are willing to talk and show you a few things if you ask but I don't think I have seen many actually spend a day working on something.

What can I do to make 2012 MM better? Jeez Terry, that's a heck of a question... World Peace??? Make everyone apologize to everyone???

Guys, I wanted to stay away from making excuses, I really want to know how you "insert you name here" would do to make it better.
Many of the guys who attended were much grayer than last memory, I did a few double takes when I saw them. But the "young ladies" never seem to age!
We look at all the new people that come along and that is the future and the future is now!

Thanks, to the people who worked and helped organize MM2011.
