Hi there I just wanted to post some pictures of a metal shaping seminar that we had in Melbourne Australia today, It was kind of informal, a few of us got together and arranged for Tom Peach to come and give us all an understanding on the art of metal shaping,
He spent some time explaining the different shapes and the proceeded to do some demonstrations,

It was back to bashing steel and aluminium again with everyone having a great time developing skills

Tom brought along some of the stuff he has made in the past for us to look at, the first is a Holden Monaro quarter panel that he made. It is made from one piece of aluminium with no joins or welds anywhere; it is truly amazing what Tom can produce

Tom’s son Steven also brought along some of his German piccolo style helmets that he makes by hand, now these are a true work of art, absolutely amazing detail, I don’t think the photos do them justice
