I have a set of erco shrinker jaws. I have been holding on to these for a few years with the idea of building my own frame and jaw holders with a deep throat. It would be foot operated just like the ERCO unit is. Have any of you guys made one of these or would have an ERCO one so I could get the dementions of the pivot points?

I have an ERCO 1447 foot shrinker. Let me know exactly what you need and I will do my best to measure. Glad to help.

Thanks Guys. Rick I will let you know...! Sounds like others have done this same build. Maybe someone will chime in with plans or pictures.

The build was off a Marchant style shrinker, the metal and the dies won't know that! I have a 6f Marchant if you need some pics or measurements. btw still looking for some shrinking dies with ramps. tt;)

That frame really stiff and works good. THE kick pedal, saw weight lifting weights added to the back of it, kicking it is like riding and kicking a scooter down the sidewalk. No real effort.

I wonder thou if the steel needs to be that thick??? it sure didn't deflect any as being used.
Isn't this the same one Ben Pedalcar posted??

Marchants can do heavy steel, so that is why the frame is so thick/heavy. I posted a copy of a Marchant sales catalog. look in the Shinker forum or my albums, specs should be in there. tt;)
