This year we will be having a tool exchange.
If you have a tool that you made or even one you bought and want to trade it bring it along.
1) each tool will be assigned a number
2) we will draw names for each tool

What is the price range that we're talking about here? I think there needs to be some guidance so peole don't under/over do it.

It is more for fun, then for profit :)
how does $10-$50 range sound?

Can those that want to participate but don't have a tool make a donation for a ticket? Maybe a ticket winner get the money pot. Just a thought for those trying to build their tool collection.

that takes all the fun out of it:rolleyes:
you can make a hammer from an old base ball bat, a slaper from an old leaf spring, I saw just the other day were some one made a radius gage on a flat piece of aluminum. just have fun with it:D

Chris,
Thanks for the ideas. Hadn't seen that degree device for marking U bends before. May have to build one of those.

Just a reminder that it will occur.
In my case, bringing good quality body hammer and dolly that I picked up at a swap meet for peanuts - cause they were rusty and pitted. Blast cabinet, paint, grind, sand, polish - will make a nice tools for someone.
For those of you that don't have one yet, I've cut some slapper blanks out of a well seasoned 1925 Chevy leaf spring. Built a couple quick samples to show how to complete them.
