Got en email about Ron Covell having a workshop at Vintage Air in San Antonio in May. On Ron's site, it says "Extreme Metalshaping 1 & 2"

Sounds interesting, although I'm nowhere near "extreme". I am, however about 30 minutes from Vintage Air.

Chaz, do you know what's going to be happening at this event? Wondering if it's worth it or not. I don't have much $$$ to spare these days.:o

You might try giving Ron a call and ask him your questions. Ron is a good guy and wouldn't have a problem with your questions. I've attended about 6 of Ron's sessions over the years and have always walked away with new information. One of the things that I like about Ron, if you ask him a question and he doesn't know the answer, he'll tell you and try to figure it out with you. Not some BS answer that he pulled out of the air. Cost wise, his seminars are a good deal.

About 14 years ago I attended my first Covell seminar. He asked us to bring in a project so I brought a panel that I needed to make and he gave me some ideas for making it. The next day I started to make the panel and three hours later had it made. I always like to see how different people approach projects, that's a nice thing about these seminars.

Thanks for the info. Any idea why this thread was moved from "Regional Events" to "reports"? It doesn't make sense.:-?
