Can anyone tell me about Devlieg and their tool cutters? I have found a used one minus tool holders for real cheap. The machine looks in good condition. I want to make my own cutters for my lathes, shapers, and mill. It would be nice to have a machine that I can make these cutters repeatedly to spec.

The Devlieg is a MIcroPoint tool cutter. I do not have the model number. It is on a pedestal and is what I would call a manual cutter. It also has a fluid system.

I only have experience with the DeVlieg JigBores. They are like the cadillacs. The tooling had all micrometer stops and lasted for years. The machine repeated extremely well. These things were extremely accurate and easy to run. Good luck with info you need.
