Keith Daleen asked me this am about my Pullmax having remembered I converted it from 3 phase.
I found my P6 while returning from Home Depot literally sitting on the side of the road. It had no lower tool holder and the motor was frozen. But it was only $250 so it followed me home. At the time I had no 3 phase converter and had this huge old 2 HP 100% duty cycle motor (must weight 100 lbs at least). I made an adapter plate for the motor mount and with my son's help was able to hang it on the machine. I ordered a 3 step aluminum pulley and thought I'd try running one belt instead of the three that was on the original motor. It works fine and I can change to a different pulley diameter to change speed.

Note the power switch is actually a 220 rated switch that breaks both white and black wires..
I also made a belt guard.

The bead was made in the pullmax with a quick and dirty beading die in a 'Ron Nadia' style tool holder. The pieces were welded with the Henrob.

One of these day's I'll make some thumbnail shrinking dies for it.
