Looking forward to the bug chop thread!!
....and on an only slightly off-topic hijack....does anyone remember which issue of Hot Rod had the feature on the chopped bug that Pete Santini built for his wife?
It was painted candy root beer in laquer, somewhere in the article it mentioned there was 11 gallons of paint on the car!!
Thanks!
James

I have been told in the past that the fastest, easiest way to chop a bug is to use 2 roofs, is that how you did it?
Baja,
That sounds like a neat project. I always thought that chopping a VW would be very much like chopping a bowling ball.
Thanks,
Duck
