West Coast Meet - Santa Cruz

Last year there was a metal meet in Santa Cruz, CA. hosted by John Forbes and Rick Scott. It looks like there will be another one, the details are still unfolding. The tentative dates are May 22nd and 23rd.

I looks like Ron Covell and Lazze will attend again.

Because of the lateness, this post is just giving everyone a heads up. Rick Scott will post more information as it becomes available.

I will surely attend! Last years meet up there was a great time. (admittedly I did spend a great deal of it rebuilding a carb, oh well)

I have been looking forward to another Redwood meet all year, but I probably won't be able to get free in May, is it possible to do it June 5-6 instead?

The tentative date was set by Ron Covell and John Forbes (who is one of the hosts, actually it has been held in John's shop). John told me this a couple of weeks ago. I have been tied up with all of this fun stuff that has been happening with MetalMeet lately and haven't been to contact Lazze to see if could support until he called me a couple of days ago.

After talking to Lazze, I called Rick Scott who helped John put the meet together last year and he is going to help again this year. Rick is going to be putting this thing together, but we thought it would be best to post a heads up because to how close it is to the event date.

We are going to try to get some more things organized on the West Coast, if anyone is interested in helping, let me know.

I talked to John Forbes today, he is waiting for a email from Ron Covell, who is in Sweden to confirm everything. As soon as I get the OK I will post ALL the information
