Hi Folks,
Well, we had our 2nd metal shaping gathering this year and from all who attended it was a success. Jason Ferguson of Texas Bike Works was the perfect host. Our hats off to him for opening up his shop and tools for us to use.
The participants ranged from older professionals in the trades to complete newbies who had never held a metal shaping hammer before. We had 7 attending in January and we had 19 attending this time. It was a time of learning and fellowship and good pizza.
It was quite fulfilling watching the younger guys when they reached that "Aha!" moment when they realized what they could do with shaping metal. They seemed to just soak up all the information thrown at them. These guys are our future and we should be proud of them!
Peace,
Chaz (the other one)
