Ok so I have been working on this car for a period of about 4 years, and have come to a point were I need to consider the body work. Originally it was going to be a aluminium monoque construction with sheet aluminium. But now since I want to get this up and going, I elected to go space frame.

Here is some photos

this is the ongoing thread I started

up above are a few photos of what I have so far, many more are in that other thread.

As I deeply hate working with fibre glass I want to make up the bodywork from sheet steel/ aluminum to get the desired shape and then use the fibre glass/ carbon fibre for the bodywork.

You're doing two bodies?? What's wrong with just using aluminum?

Ally panels can be lighter than Fibreglass ones and easier to replace so I agree, why make two bodies?

some of those furums don't allow hotmail email addreses becuase too many people use them to make fake acounts... I know it's a pain in the arse...

anyway back to everyone else, the grand plan is to make the bodywork from carbon fibre. I would want the ability to create more bodies from a original "buck" so I wouldn't have to go through the perocess again... I know I said it on a metal forum

I also got hold of some armature wire to visualise how the bodywork should be..
