Hi Folks,
It's been a long time since I've posted a tutorial here. This has all been pretty much covered in the past, so rather than explain the process, it's going to be more of a pictorial.
I'm in the process of building a roof panel for a client who took a pretty wild ride down the dragstrip in his A/Gas Willys Coupe. He's a body man, so he'll be installing the panel himself.

Fortunately, I had a '39 Willys Coupe delivered that needs a complete re-body. The roof was damaged beyond economical repair for the quality of repair the owner wants, but I was able to repair it for use in making a buck.

Notice that the buck needs to be a modular design in order to remove it from the roof skin. I'll be using the buck to hammerform the reveals and flanges, which will lock the buck into the new panel. The buck is made up of seven individual pieces.
