I will be hosting a regional Metal Meet on November 11-12.

Same style setup like the previous 2, however it could be a little cooler than the past 2.

I hope everyone can attend the Grandaddy event MM06 in Oblong, Il. in October, but those who can't this will be condensed version:mrgreen: .

Ya'll know that there is no FEE to attend. Read that as FREE :!:

Keith,

Good to hear you are putting on another meet. I had hoped to attend last years, but my new shop got in the way of that. Hopefully I can make it to this one. Being in Nov, I should have all my must do outdoor stuff done by then.

Looking forward to it,
Bob

Keith,
Do us old veterans get a reduced rate for the party? As far as I know now, count me in. It's only 300 miles. After Dutch's 1200, that'll be a walk in the park.

Count me in Keith. Lord willing and the creek don't rise! I'll bring a truck load of machines for folks to play with.

Kerry, That will be great.

Hi Keith. I've only been working about a week a month so will depend on finances, but my son and I are going to try to make it. Am planning on pancaking my '53 hood at MM06 and would like to punch a few louvers in it once it's done. Is Lucky going to make Oblong with you? Nice guy, pretty quiet though. See ya soon.

Phil,

Hope you can make it. I don't know if Lucky is coming to Oblong, he has some medical problems.

Will be more than happy to let you louver your hood.

This the best part of having one of these meets I get to pay back everyone who comes ,for all of their postings and help, making this a great site to belong to.

I'll see you in Oblong.

This one is going on the calendar. I can't make the drive to MM06, but this one's only 200 miles from home. Sounds like a great opportunity for a newbie like me to learn. Do we need to bring anything with us (tools, safety glasses, etc)?

Hi Tony,

It would be great if you could make MM06, but if you can't just bring some eye protection, gloves , ear plugs. Tools optional.

As you guys can see, I've been lurking around here for some while trying to learn something.

gator -- I'm located in Neosho, MO ,in the southwest corner (about 3 miles north of BFE!!). Unfortunately, my work schedule won't work out well for me to attend MM06 either.

Keith -- I do plan on attending the Missouri meet. My schedule will have changed by then to a much more manageable one. I'm going to talk to my dad and see if he'll want to come too. We've been working on old Mopars for some time now, but have never delved into the sheetmetal side, other than tacking on a few small patches. We're currently working on a 37 Plymouth Coupe for my dad. We're also just beginning the process of building an e-wheel and rotisserie. I look forward to meeting everyone and learning what I can.

I thought I would copy the map that Anders posted for me last year. The last map frame with the Question Mark ias the place.

My address 28432 Anderson School Road , Sedalia, Mo. 65301
660.826.1549 home
660.826.3921 shop

This is the intersection of US 50 Hiway and US 65 Hiway. Go south on US 65.

This is the next one going south on 65 till Anderson School Road. Then turn east.

Then I'm not quite sure about the exact location, but I guess it's around here <LOL>

Pretty possible I might be able to show up. I've got tons of stuff going on as far as travel between now and then but I hate to miss one so close.
