has any body had much experience with a lathe milling attacment. Ive got an old logan and it seems like a great way to do small milling tasks

You'll have a little bit of milling ability, but it will be a pretty small envelope and the milling slide attachment will probably not be very rigid.
It will be better than nothing, but you'll probably tire of it quickly and start looking for a milling machine.

They do work but like the others have already said, they're made to do small items. Here's one that I have.
