Hello everone I stripped all the 2k clear coat, black base, high build 2k primer and etch off, not much fun.. and used salt after gringing all the metal up, I spend all my working life as a car painter fighting rust so this time im going to run with it instead. when it has rusted enough i will soak it in oil and mabee use a clear furnature wax on it to retard the rusting further, its going in my conservatory so it will not be exposed to the weather, it was a bold move because now it wont last forever as it would have with 1/2 of paint on it but it is a sculpture not a car, it has a pritty strong frame, which i call a hypo alloy combat endo skeleton... Sorry watched the terminator too many times  so it should not fall apart just yet, the guys at work say it will the only thing left standing after the global warming kicks off! Thanks for looking at a massive thanks to everone who has replied it would have not got finnished with out your feedback. i will post some of the Samurai Terminator when he has rusted a bit more and installed in my house.
My next "thing" will be made from perspex planes held together with hand made stainless steel brackets, would this qualify to be posted here? If so, then... "I'll be back!"

Hi Martin, Tojo has come together really nicely. Great project, fine craftsmanship. I like the rust finish idea. It should take on a great look once its all corroded up and sealed with oil. Kudos
