I'm hoping that in this forum the list members that know how to use powerful graphics programs and CAD programs like Rhino, Illustrator,PhotoShop, and others will help out some of the other members that want to see what their projects might look like with some modifications.

Also anyone with a project drawing that they want to get other list members feedback on submit your drawing first in the gallery section and then link it here and tell us something about it.

Thanks,

Wray

I can take a picture and make line-drawings and then stretch and pull any lines to make a custom body style. If I have mesurements of wheelbase I can insert any mesurements to any scale.

If anyone has detailed drawings / sketches of parts, I can make up some solid model assy's and computer drawings and post the images. e-frames,wheels and other homebuilt tools. etc...

I can't stop looking at this.

I am so stuck on the cad stuff it is so frustrating to me.

Can this be done?

Well....the votes are coming in.

I know from the first two, then the car will notbe stolen for its front end treatment.

Hi Dave,
I for one will vote yes on the front end treatment. It's not like anything else I've seen, and I think that's why I'm attracted to it. Not pretty, not ugly, just different.

John sorry to disagree, but that front end is akwardlly ugly. Everyone to their own taste and differant is good, maybe it will inspire some one to redo !

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say, I just go back to the old saying, "There is no such thing as an ugly woman, just some prettier than others".

You have gotten me thinking about add-ons.

How will a front bra work?

Where will the police put all their stuff when it is seized and pressed into police work?

How will it look with 20" + rims and spinners???

Ummmm.

Looks like someone cleaned out their garage of surplus parts from past projects.

Hi all, I think you have to admire the tenacity and the discipline it takes to build a project of that magnitude. I'm sure the builders are proud of their vehicle. The execution of the project is first rate and the finished components look to be very nicely made. That said, the front end of the vehicle looks okay from my house, but it's a long way from Michigan to Australia.

sorry to get off the car subject...i myself thinks its god awful but from the way the article reads, its fast, so its ok in my book lol. Anyways, i may be a newb to this sheetmetal thing but, i will be more than happy to help anyone out with CAD or CAM projects. I have a degree in CAD/CAM Engineering and know solidworks and mastercam pretty well. AutoCAD is a thing of my past but im sure that i could help in that area as well if needed. Post here if you'd like and/or send an email to my msn name to be sure that i get the message. Hope i can help....Later Jeremy

I know this is supposed to be a CAD topic but I just gotta say that car looks UG-LY! The front end is a disaster. At first it looked like a part off a boat, but then the middle part just looks like a dick. sorry about my french :)
No, really.. I know some people poured their hearts and souls to make it. I feel so sorry for them I tryed and tryed to find a good angle on the front end, but it just isn't working for me..

I was in traffic today and saw a few Elements and a few Scions and even one Ass-tec. This thing looks better all the while. http://206.125.208.236/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif http://206.125.208.236/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif http://206.125.208.236/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif http://206.125.208.236/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif
