Hey guys and gals,
Some of you might remember me from the board earlier in the year, and from the regional '05 meet at Randy's house. Sorry i kinda dropped off the face of the earth for a while, ive had lots to do and health problems to overcome, but i don't want to give excuses, i just want to say this ...I'm back.
Well, where do i start, the '55 2nd series Chevy Carryall project got put on hold while i was finishing up my degree. It's now in Indiana, near Evansville at Hoosier Hotrods getting all the patch panels welded in that i fab'd up. When i get it back in feb/march, it'll be on the new frame, have the engine, tranny, rearend, fuel lines, brakes, brake lines, airbags, airlines, compressor, radiator, heater and all the other junk installed into it so i can focus on what i really like to do ...customizing.
In the meantime, having it out of the shop has allowed me a lot of time. I finished my degree in may '05. BFA in Sculpture, focus in metal of course. I also decided that i didn't like working for someone else, so i started my own business. Come the first of the year it will be official. Fleming Custom Design & Fabrication will be southern Illinois' newest custom car, bike, furniture, and sign shop. If any of you are ever in the area, feel free to stop in.
I'll get some pictures up by the week's end. ...of all the current projects.
