Hey all,
Well I have been reading here for a while but have not really posted much.. so I figure what the heck why not..
Well I have had this bike for a little over 2 years and it started to have engine problems so I figured what the heck why not modify while I have the engine out.
I made the fenders, Gas Tank, side covers, rear struts, exhaust, seat, oh pretty much everything :)
Here is how it started .....

and here it is during the process..
I do not have any fancy tools so I did everything with a hammer, my knee, and a whole lot of sweat..

Not bad, not bad at all. Nice ride.
I have no problem wth metrics. I worshipped the holy british bike in my youth, BSA, Triumph, Norton, Royal Enfield, Matchless, etc, till I actually rode a rice rocket. I ceased blaspheming against them after that, but bought an Italian bike next, a '74 Ducati 750GT ...a half way measure, metric, but pasta instead of rice. Rice got me after that. There's something very appealing about the level of reliability.

Nice work Bruiser, it's always interesting what a difference in the look something can take on without completely modifying the whole bike. Really looks great. Thanks for sharing it with us.
