I picked up a little jump shear and it is way out of adjustment. Are there certain guide lines to follow on how to set the blade to get the best cut? Just a little Niagra Queen City.

The rule of thumb that we use at work for industial strip shearing is 10% of material thickness. If you usually cut within a certain range of material gauges then you will have to find the best all around setting. The 10% will usually get you in the ball park.

Hello Warren; the Bliss Clearing Niagara facility is in Hastings Mi.-1004 E State St. Hastings Mi.49058 1 800 64 BLISS. Helpful folks, I bought a 11 R&C shear, needs parts, they are pricy. A manual might not be to bad. Good Luck!
