Making inner structure modifications for a race car

I noticed earlier today in the gallery that CKracecraft posted some great pictures of his creative use of sheetmetal shaping to make racing improvements to a late model car's suspension structure and mounting points for a safety cage.

Here are the pictures, I hope CK jumps in and explains what he did. Looks like excellent work to me.
