Wanted to let everyone know about the free hobby lathe plans, spot welders, sand blaster, etc plans over at vintage metal working plans (http://www.vintageprojects.com/lathe-milling-plans.html)
have fun with them.

Yeah, some good stuff there! I used their info to build my little sandblaster. Didn't know diddly about sandblasters ....................... ended up building a little pressurized blaster out of 2" pipe and fittings. It holds about 4 pounds of sand, and has worked out well for the little stuff I do :).
Besides the lathe and mill stuff, there are several useful articles in the Home Workshop and Metal-Welding categories.

Thought I recognised them. Most of those plans passed in the 1972 Popular Mechanics encyclopedia set. I've got the welders, smelter, and sand blaster articles at home.
