Texas Meet?

I'm a newbie and could really benefit from a "MetalMeet!" Are there any TX members that would be interested in putting one together? C'mon Y'all! :lol:

Hi Nick. I think it was last year, but there was a member from Houston that wanted to hold one, but don't remember what ever came of it. There is going to be one held in Oklahoma pretty quick, I don't know how far Edmond is from Austin but there are going to be a bunch of good people there. Buy a bag, build a baseball mallet hammer and a set of tucking tools and start banging away. If you don't have an E-wheel, a set of dollies,or a turned piece of solid round stock, and a slapping hammer will plannish out the "walnuts". Imperial Wheeling sells bags very reasonable, and Hoosier Pattern sells a tucking tool that you can fasten about anywhere if you didn't want to build a set. Check them out! Keep posting, reading and working, who knows, maybe one will be held closer to you. Or you can hold your own sometime.
