Hi everyone I just got a deal on a old torch setup(100 bucks with three tanks :D ), it came with everything. It is older stuff cracked hoses ect. I was going to use the tanks with a cheap setup I got off ebay about a year ago. If I would have bought it now it would have been a better brand. I was wondering if anyone knows of any problems with the cheap set. I have little gas welding experience. Thanks.

mtlscool,
I would be concerned with checking for leaks - "hose it down" with some soapy water - EVERYTHING that might be a potential leak is fair game as far as I am concerned - hose connections, valves, packing - I might even spray the regulators. Wipe stuff down when you're done.
I would be leery of regulator guages - if they exhibit any sticking that be a huge warning sign. Having them checked or checking against a known good guage wouldn't be a bad idea either.
Other than that I don't see any problems.
I would suggest taking a welding class - maybe at your local community college -it'd be time and money well spent - IMHO
