Minnesota regional meet Nov 13 -14, 2004

For those that missed the Robinson Meet and other anxious Metalmeet Members.

Dan Pate, a new member Dennison, MN, is having a regional meet in TWO WEEKS, Nov 13 and 14 Saturday and Sunday. Dan is in the auto restoration business. His shop is large and well equipped.

Dan contacted me a week ago looking for some advice on a few projects. I told Dan the only advice I had was to host a Metalmeet and advice would spill forth from all directions.

About 30 miles southeast of MNinneapolis, St. Paul.

Dan has a Pullmax P3, English wheel Shear/brake TIG, MIG, Oxy-Acel, shrinker /stretcher and more........... and a darn nice LOUVER PRESS! here is your chance to ventilate whatever you have that would look good with louvers .

Dan says he gets up early so 7-8Am is OK for start .... we can make a long day if you like.

Dan's wife has offered to serve Lunch and refreshments. Please let's give Dan a call or email if you plan to attend so the Lunch can be set out for the number attending. Bring your small bills to match your appetite as we should make sure Dan's wife does not come up short as a result of her generosity.

Bring your projects and whatever you might think would help in the way of tools. Let's get together and have a good time.

The prototype SHOPDOG 16 will be there for you to try.

Sorry but I can't make it, not enough notice. I work weekends and need to give at least 6 weeks notice to get off on a weekend.

South on Hwy 52 from Twin Cities toward Rochester. Take Hwy 50-56 exit at Hampton MN. Proceed ahead as if returning to Hwy 52 about 1/4 Block. Then turn right at the "Y" and head south on Hwy 56. Dan's Place is about 12 Miles south.
